Axis Deads

A “dead” is a way of storing a useful position that you can use in your moves.

For example, your first two deads usually store the positions of full travel in each direction as those are positions you will need time and time again.

You might also want to store positions for a certain scene that you return to multiple times in a show. The advantage of using deads is that you can update the dead and it will update in every cue that it is used in.

⚠️
If necessary, make sure you update all the cue timings that use that dead as you do not get prompted that a cue timing has changed. This may cause a significant impact the next time you run a cue.
