Using the Settings page you can configure the way the desk acts and communicates with the automation system.
These settings will be set by Absolute Motion Control during the testing and commissioning of the automation system, and will not normally need adjusting.
They are included in this manual in case you are asked by Absolute Motion Control to adjust them.
DO NOT adjust any setting unless you fully understand the real-world effect it may have. If you do not understand what a setting does, stop and contact Absolute Motion Control.
To navigate to the settings page:
- If you haven’t already, exit Motion back to the main menu.
- Tap the
Settings
button.
Adjusting Settings
The settings are displayed as a list. Each entry includes:
- The Setting Name (in “camel case”)
- A Setting Description (in grey)
- The Setting Value (this may be a text box, a checkbox or dropdown list – depending on the setting type)
To adjust a setting:
- Check you have located the correct setting, using the setting name and description.
- Enter the new value.
Changes in settings are instant and do not require confirmation. Make sure you make a note of a previous setting in case you need to return back to the original value in the future.
