Motion is built on a very well established framework specifically for Windows. Whilst various other technologies have appeared in recent years to port windows desktop software to other operating systems, we have maintained that Motion should only run on Windows so that it can benefit from regular advances in technology and implement them as efficiently as possible.
As a result Motion supports the Windows operating system, and works on Windows 7 and above. New installations make use of Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC to provide a very stable and streamlined platform with long term support.

- Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
- 1GB Ram or higher
- 1Ghz CPU or higher
- 8GB Storage Media
- Integrated Graphics or better
- Administrator privileges
- At least 1 display (for <5 axis), 2 preferred (required for >4 axis)
