Sequential Moves

Sequential Moves

It is possible to create a sequence of moves for an axis. Each move will run directly after the last.

Creating a Move Sequence

To create a move sequence, you need to add additional moves to an axis.

To add a move:

  • Locate the axis in the cue where you want to create a sequence.
  • Tap the + Add Move button.
  • Edit the moves as desired.
  • Tap the Update button, to update the cue with your changes.

You can add multiple moves to a sequence (up to a maximum of 8), as shown below:

Edit each move exactly as if it was a single move, using the move timing calculator is exactly the same as well.

Remove a Move from a Squence

To remove a move from a sequence:

  • Tap the Bin icon at the end of the move you want to remove.
  • Tap the Update button to update the cue with your changes.

✏️
The time displayed at the end of each move line is the time it would take to run the move from the current position of the axis, not the last move in the move list, so it may not always match the time entered in the move timing calculator.
⚠️
If you stop and restart a sequential move, it will start from the first move again, not continue where it left off. This might have an unexpected effect, so make sure you fully understand what a move will do before you fire it again.

Repeating Sequences

To set sequences to endlessly repeat:

  • Tick the Repeat checkbox.
  • Tap the Update button to update the cue with your changes.
